Metering Pumps

Electromagnetics

logo_lmi_miltonroy2

The LMI range’s electronically-controlled electromagnetic pumps are light and reliable. With more than 8,000 possible configurations, these pumps are covering various applications and processes.

Designed for use with the simplest as well as the most complex processes by means of their control interface, which uses a 4-20 mA signal or a physico-chemical controller. With their corrosion-resistant plastic housing and mechanical diaphragm liquid end, they form an accurate, rugged dosing solution that has been tried and tested over many years.

Most environmentally-friendly

  • Maximum flow rate: 7.5 l/h
  • Maximum pressure: 9.7 bar
  • With a 12 V power supply, it can operate on batteries or via solar panel
  • Available in mode 5

Mode 0: Economical dosing
Flow rate variation from 20 to 100%
Stroke frequency fixed, stroke length manually adjustable
This is the simplest electromagnetic pump in the LMI range

Mode 1: Adjustable dosing
Flow rate variation from 1 to 100%
Stroke frequency and stroke length manually adjustable
This operating mode allows for a larger flow range

Mode 5: Proportional dosing
There are two usage options for this version:

  • Stroke frequency and stroke length manually adjustable
  • Adjustment controlled by a dry contact originating from a water meter or pulse generator
  • Pump stroke frequency varies automatically in relation to the emitter signal
  • Optional low level safety device to prevent loss of priming

Mode 7: Automated dosing
2 options:

  • Stroke frequency and stroke length manually adjustable
  • Pump stroke frequency varies automatically with the main flow rate. Control via dry contact or open collector originating from a water meter or pulse generator

Optional adapters MICROPACE® – multiply, divide, convertor 4-20mA, can be used to adapt the pump to different control modes
Optional low level safety device to prevent loss of priming
Electronically adjustable power control (Series B and C)

Mode 9: Microprocessor programmed dosing
Manually adjustable stroke length and frequency from 1 to 6,000 strokes per hour
Remote start/stop, proportional pulse control, integrated multiplier and divider, configurable 4-20 mA signal control, pulse copying, alarm display
Optional low level alarm and self-monitoring flow system
Electronically adjustable power control

PVC:
This is the most economical material and is suitable for a wide range notably in the field of water treatment and agriculture

Acrylic:
This material has good compatibility with chlorine and fluorinated products. Thanks to its transparent nature, air bubbles and deposits can be seen and eliminated.

PVDF:
Suitable for use with concentrated acids and bases and oxidants

These standard liquid ends are supplemented by a range of special liquid ends allowing for the dosing of viscous products (polymers, silicon… up to 10,000 cP), stainless steel liquid ends for pressurised processes, PP liquid ends.
